Congress MLC Yathindra Siddaramaiaha said that the state government has decided to carry out fresh caste census in the state to take all sections into trust.
On Tuesday he spoke to reporters in Mysur and Mr. Yathindra rejected the reported accusation of the BJP that the state government indulges in unnecessary expenditures by re -performing the caste census. “It’s necessary for the state and society,” he said.
Yathindra said that the opposition leaders protested against the implementation of a census report because it was ten years old, and said that the previous report would be done if the opposition was not objected.
Mr. Yathindra accused the leader of the opposition of deception of some communities and said that a new survey was necessary to gain community confidence. “It is important for us to implement a census report after trust,” he said.
He rejected the opposition argument that the main Minister Siddaramaiah was conducting a new survey to remain solid in the saddle.
“It will remain firm in the chair or without the caste census. The Congress Party promised in its election manifesto that it would work to strengthen back class, education and economically. BJP only politically motivated the accusations,” he said.
High command also took the implementation of a census report seriously by combining all communities together.
Asked about skepticism over government capabilities to complete a survey within 90 days, Mr. Yathindra said that exercise to carry out caste surveys was completed in a short time in Telangana and Bihar. “Nowadays, conducting surveys is not difficult because there are mobile applications and specialized companies for this purpose.”
He said that the government would consider society that would perform a fair, transparent and fair way.
