As part of a special drive, CCB officials attacked the central prison of Pappan agrahar on Monday and renewed forbidden items, including tobacco products, knives, chillum used for smoking and 16,180 GBP in cash.
The air raid was carried out just on the heels of a psychiatric advisor who was caught by red smuggling a mobile phone in his private part to be handed over to the subhole.
On the basis of Tip-off, which is still used forbidden substances, the CCB team visited the central prison without informing prison officials, searched the barracks and confiscated things. Although officials did not find any drugs, Chillum recovery showed that Ganja was used in prison, the officials said.
Officials suspect that the accusations operated illegal shops in prison premises in a secret agreement with prison staff.
CCB officials have received a book containing details of the sale of goods that are verified to identify the network.
