The manager of the private wedding hall, which was attacked by a knife worker in Musiri, in the district on Monday on Monday on Tuesday.
The Musiri Police registered the murder case and arrested M. Ganesan (38) for accusing A. Subramanian, 52.
Police sources said Ganesan apparently created problems under the influence of alcohol in the locality. About Subramanian said he told his wife Ganesana about his behavior.
Ganesan got angry and allegedly abused Subramanian and attacked him with a knife on his chest and shoulder. Subramanian was initially transported to the government hospital, Musiri, and later was admitted to the Mahatma Gandhi memorial government hospital in Tiruch, where he died.
