Air India crash: In the middle of the ongoing security checks due to the Ahmedabad Air India accident, two of its flights on June 17 – AI143 from Delhi to Paris and AI142 from Paris to Delhi.
According to Air India spokesman, Air India Dilli was to Paris to land at Paris Airport Charles de Gaulle (CDG), canceled after the problem was identified during mandatory pre -flight checks.
“The AI143 from Delhi to Paris of 17th June was canceled. Mandatory pre -flight checks have identified the problem currently being solved. However, Charles de Gaulle (CDG) was abolished” with regard to the flights falling under the restrictions of night operations in Paris.
“As a result, the Flight AI142 from Paris to Delhi on June 17, 2025, also canceled,” he added.
The airline provides passengers, including hotel accommodation and cancellation of free benefits.
“We provide accommodation at the hotel and also offer full compensation for cancellation or free of charge if they travel it,” said Air India spokesman.
Let Air India Ahmedabad-London canceled
At the beginning of the Air India, its flight AI159 from Ahmedabad to Gatwick – operating under the new code after the AI171 Air Crash from 12 June – was canceled.
While the reports initially stated that the abolition was caused by a “technical hitch”, Air India later explained that it was for operational reasons.
“AI159 from Ahmedabad to Gatwick has been abolished today due to the unavailability of aircraft caused by airspace limitation and other preventive controls, leading to longer than the usual aircraft turnover, not because of any technical effort,” Air India said.
As a result, the Flight AI170 from London Gatwick to Amritsar was also abolished.
Improved security checks come after 12 June, when the terrible accident of Air India, which killed 241 crews and passengers on board, shook the world.
After the Aviation India crash, DGCA ordered an airline to carry out security checks in its Boeing 787 fleet.
