Senior England Batter Jos Buttler feels that Jasprit Bumrah is the largest superstar in the Indian cricket. Buttler spoke to Stuart Broad on a podcast and said that Bumrah was the biggest threat to opposition, whether he was traveling and commanding respect for the same.
India plays England in 5-match test series far from home from June to August. Bumrah, which returns to the red ball format after recovery from the back injury, is expected to be the greatest benefit of this young Indian team led by SHUBMAN GILL.
Buttler spoke with Stuart Broad about the love of cricket podcast and showed his admiration for the Indian fast pitch.
“I don’t think there is a bigger star in that tourist group than Jasprit Bumrah,” Jos Buttler said.
“But he creates embarrassing angles in his face, the start is unique, the action is unique. I think I saw side points (pitch), but added the ball from the foot or even a little closer to Batsman than the average superior, so he feels faster than the pace,” he added.
Buttler said that Bumhrah’s action could cause one to feel like a session goal.
“For me as a right -hander, it always seemed to be as if it were coming, but he could beat me from the outside and you will find yourself in a terrible position, on the other and a little sitting goal,” said former Captain of England with a white ball.
“It’s a superstar, and that’s what you expect in an international cricket. You’ll come against great players and certainly someone’s England will have to play well to have a good success,” he said.
Bumrah in England
Jasprit Bumrah is expected to play all five series tests. The chairman of the Ajit Agarkar selector confirmed this before India flew to England, and said India would drive the workload of Pacers not to keep his career injury.
When he talked about Bumrah, Stuart Broad, who took 604 goals out of 167 tests before retirement in 2023, said the Indian stimulator would take “intersection goals” if he played in all five matches of the series.
“It will definitely be one to watch, and certainly someone who will not want to play five tests, because if so, he will pick up the Bouda goal, right?” Broad closed.
The first test match between India and England begins on June 20 in Leeds.
