
The Karnataka High Court refused to cancel the criminal proceedings against the head of Akon Inc., based on a fee submitted by the Central Investigation Office (CBI) for the alleged cheating of the Defense Research Organization (DrDO) in 2009, supplying uncomplete tensions to the vehicle (RF).

Background
Some complaints appeared in 2012 on components, which in 2009 Akon for Akon Drdo Avionics Rede Seegal (DARE), and internal survey revealed that non -working dummies were provided. Then this problem was ceded by CBI, which originally carried out a preliminary investigation and later registered the first information report (companies) and in 2022 filed fees.
In the CBI fee, Akon had sent 35 incomplete units in February 2009 in February 2009 and received a 90% payment of 1.72 crore. The agency claimed that Priya Suresh N., the scientist-D Dare in a conspiracy with the company, accepted units that were not functional. CBI named Mrs. Suresh and UK Revankar of Dare as accused with Akon and Mr. Sareen.
CBI claimed that on the recommendation of Mrs Sutesh, 24 units were sent back to Akon during weeks under the pretext of upgrade/repair and the rest remained unused and not tested until July 2011.
However, she recommended to repay the balance to the supplier by saying that the units worked satisfactorily, although it previously stated that the units were not working, and was looking for the director’s consent to return the Akon units for repairs, CBI said.
