It is necessary to bridge the gap between pedagogy and the latest technologies for the benefit of students and to prepare them for the industry, said Vice-President CSRK Prasad Jntu Kakinada (JNTU-K).
On Monday, Mr. Prasad spoke as a main guest in the program of training for teachers entitled “Development of Business and Creation of Risky Companies” on PVP Siddhartha Institute of Vijayawada, adding that Jntu-K encouraged faculty and students to become an entrepreneur. The five-day program was organized by JNTU-K, Wadhwani Foundation and PVP Siddhartha Institute of Technology.
Bala Krishna, a professor of Jnt-K, said that all members of the faculty should have good knowledge in their fields and improve the location and startups of opportunities at their relevant universities.
Safiuddin Khaja, an artificial intelligence engineer (AI) in Google, spoke of the role of AI as developing technology and added that generative AI is now very demanded. Pvpsit principal K. Sivaji said that constant learning is important for faculty members and that they should be prepared for industrial requirements.
The program was attended by more than 129 faculties from different universities throughout the state. Dayakar Murty, Director of the Wadhwani Foundation and others were present.
