Bengaluru: Just hours after the news of the Rapido bike rider, who allegedly attacked a woman in Bengalur, he lit a massive outrage, a new twist appeared.
The woman may have threw the first blow to the driver, today announced India and quoted exclusive shots of the incident.
The shocking incident that developed on a busy street was caught on the camera and has since become viral on social media. In a viral video, a woman can see that she almost falls to the ground after a slap. However, the Rapido driver cannot be clearly seen.
The Commissioner of the City Police of Bengalur Setant Kumar Singh told reporters that the Southern Division police registered a complaint and that the driver was taken into custody.
What led to a hand
A woman who works as a business collaborator in a jewelery shop in Jayanagar was reportedly on his way to work when she asked the rider to stop in the middle of the road, upset his ruthless proceedings and repeated breach of the signal, PTI reported.
What began as a verbal quarrel escalated quickly – after the rider allegedly hit the woman with such force that she fell to the ground and left passers -by in shock.
Police officials said PTI that the woman refused to pay the fare or return the helmet after the rider’s confrontation, which further escalated tension.
A woman agrees to submit a case
On Monday, the woman agreed to file a case against the rider and went to the police station for that, and reported.
After the incident, the rider and the woman were brought to the Jayanagar police station for interrogation.
Previously, the leading policeman said that while the woman accused the rash and assault, she refused to file a formal complaint despite repeated persuasion.
“The woman did not have any complaint in this respect. In this Act, we reported an invisible report (NCR). In this respect, the rider was questioned and legal steps will be taken by law,” said Loket B Jagalasar, Deputy Police Commissioner (South).
