The announcement of the census of the people in India would be published in the official Bulletin today on June 16, said the Ministry of the Interior (MHA).
Up to 34 lacquers and supervisors and 1.3 Lakh census would be deployed in two phases. The exercise will be carried out by March 1, 2027.

The last census was carried out in India in 2011, when the whole process of the official and enumeration was completed before the reference date of March 1, 2011.
However, the exercises will take place until October 2026 in States bound in Snow and the Union, such as Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himacal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
People’s census is a decade-based survey that was carried out 15 times until 2011.
The domestic ministry said that the census would be done digitally using mobile applications and people could also strengthen themselves.
“Very strict data security measures would be maintained to ensure data security at the time of collection, transmission and storage,” he said.
