The India team training match in Beckenham, Kent, was removed early on the third day, after a stunning versatile performance of Shardul Thakur. Thakur, who showed up in India A, made a convincing case to integrate into XI for the upcoming test series against England by breaking an undefeated 122 against a high -quality bowling attack with Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Prazidh Krishna and Arshdeep Singh.
Thakura’s shifts that began late on the second day, when he remained undefeated on the 19th day, culminated in a composed and authoritative century on the third day. Knock, which is marked by Crisp Strow Play and its trademark against attacking an attack on counterattack, filed a team leadership selection before the Headingley test from 21 June.
Before his exploitation with the thakur bat, he also amazed the ball, the disturbing of the supreme order, such as KLALUL, SHUBMAN GILL and Karun Nair during the bowling stint of India A. Thakur, who was known for his talents of delivering breakthroughs in crucial moments, again lived to his reputation reliable.
The match, which was originally planned until 16 June, was prematurely dismissed, and the Council of Cryt in India (BCCI) confirmed:
“Game in India India’s team ended. Complete day off on June 16th. The team will leave for Leeds 17th June.”
The match was played behind the closed door, without publishing live television or official Scorecards. However, the reports indicate several standout performances about a three -day simulation. KL RAHUL and SHUBMAN GILL hit the first day of the 1950s, while Sarfaraz Khan made subtitles with a blister of 101 of only 76 balls on the second day, represented 15 and two six – knocking, which further strengthens his growing reputation in the test arena.
The developing dough of Sai Sudharsan also contributed with the Handy 38 because the Indian party led by SHUBMAN GILL has completed its only warm -up accessories before the five -match series.
The key point of speech emerging from the match is the intensive competition for the versatile place in the XI test. Nitish Kumar Reddy, who played all five tests in the recent Border-Gavascar trophy and scored a century in Melbourne, was less impact with the ball. Meanwhile, Thakur brings a proven test record – 31 goals and 331 runs out of 11 matches – and is widely considered to be a “golden hand” for his ability to break partnership against the game.
After strong home performances for Mumbai in Ranja Trophy, Thakur received a test group for the England series. His latest test appearance came against South Africa in Centurion in December 2023. Due to his BAT and Ball login data, he could prove valuable benefits in English conditions known to prefer seam and rocking.
With the headingley test now just a few days away, the Indian Think tank faces a complex but welcome decision: to persist with the promise of Reddy or trust in experience and current form of Sharduula Thakura.
