The President of the Senior Association of the district of Vizianagararam district citizens of RS Kuppe Rao and Secretary General T. Satya Murtha on Sunday called on the government to ensure a dignified life for seniors who faced several challenges in family and society.
On the occasion of the world day of abuse of the abuse of older elderly, the association organized a meeting from the statue of Mahatma Gandhi to the temple of Panchamukha Anjaneyaswama in Vizianagarama to emphasize the problems faced by older citizens.
In an interview with the media, Mr. Kuppurao raised concerns about growing incidents using the abuse of language, violent isolation, lack of support for medical controls, and other problems that caused seniors of mental stress.
