Kedia Doctoral Research Scholarship based at IIITH

Global technology company Affle 3i Limited has announced the launch of the ‘Kedia Doctoral Research Fellowship’ at the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT Hyderabad).

According to the institute’s release on Friday, the launch commemorates 20 years of leadership and contributions of its COO – India & Emerging Markets, Vipul Kedia.

Mr. Kedia, an alumnus of IIIT Hyderabad, said the scholarship reflects Affle’s commitment to innovation, excellence in research and creating lasting social impact. Supported by annual contributions from Affle, the scholarship will fund one PhD researcher each year for the next 20 years, covering tuition, stipend, research and dissemination costs. The initiative will support advanced research in new technology areas, including artificial intelligence, cyber security, artificial intelligence in healthcare and smart cities.

Former IIITH Director PJ Narayanan welcomed the initiative and highlighted its role in strengthening industry-academia partnerships and nurturing future technology leaders.
