Forty -year -old woman Perumallagaram near Koradacherry was reportedly murdered by pushing her into the water on Pandavaiyar on Saturday. Was identified as Sudha.
Questions reveal that the crime was committed in the afternoon when the victim kept goats near the river. Two people – Murugan (48 years) and Ajithkumar (38) of Thiridavasal Hamlet – captured it and tried to bother it. As Sudha resisted, they pushed her into the river and pushed her face in stagnant water, resulting in her death.
Meanwhile, the passers -by noticed a stir and rushed to Sudh’s help. However, when the Government Medical College Hospital was rushed to the Turuvarur Hospital, the doctors declared her dead on arrival. Both were caught by the public, sources said.
