Congress Trinamool called on the “thorough, transparent and impartial investigation” of the Air India AI171 flight and condemned the emergence of what he described as conspiracy theories after the tragedy.
The aircraft linked to London from Ahmedabad, crashed shortly after take -off in the afternoon of June 12, resulting in the death of almost all passengers and crew members. According to current reports, it is known that only one passenger survived. The aircraft also required several lives on Earth after hitting a residential area near the track.
“We need a thorough and impartial investigation of the aircraft accident … It is not right to float theories such as the hit of birds, and create perception before carrying out a proper investigation,” said Kunal Ghosh, a spokesman for the Trinamool Kunal Ghosh on Friday (June 13, 2025).
Referring to previous incidents related to transport during the government term of office kept by the party of Bharatiya Janat that the current state of security and services of passengers raises concerns. “This aircraft traveled from Paris to Delhi, then smoothly from Delhi to Ahmedabad. Then what happened? Wasn’t the aircraft properly maintained? To recognize it, do we need proper investigation by a proper specialist and authorities,” he said.
