Murder on the honeymoon Meghalaya: Entrepreneur Indore Raja Raghuvanki and his wife, Sonam (arrested as the main accused in the case of the murder of her husband) paid £1 380 for his room, dinner and coffee, said Meghalaya owner Homestay on Friday.
When talking to PTI, Constantin, the owner of Shipara Homestay, where Raja and Sonam stayed, they said they disappeared a few hours after checking on the property of 22 May and that night returned to dinner late that night.
According to him, they ordered coffee. “Then they came out without a guide. I suppose they went to see the root bridge like any other tourist who came to the village,” he said, adding that Raja paid £1,000 for the room, £80 for coffee and £300 for dinner.
Unlike Sonam’s claim to her mother -in -law on the phone that she was fasting, Constantine said they both had a “very good dinner” they enjoyed.
A couple who did not make any previous reservations for their trip to Meghalaya did not get a room in the home period in the Sohra district in the East Khasi Hills district, which forced them to set off from Mawlakhiat to Nongriat, also in the same district, with the help of a guide.
Homestay owner remembers “unusual behavior”
Constantine said he remembered Raja’s face when he saw her later on the social media. He added, however, that he did not notice the presence of three hitmen – who allegedly attended the murder.
In the family, Raja and Sonam occupied one of the five available rooms.
Constantine remembered his unusual behavior next morning (May 23).

“It was unusually early for our guests to wake up before the start (5:00). They knocked on our door and I had to wake my wife to ask if they needed breakfast. They refused and told me they wanted to look,” he said.
Raja Raghuvanki and his wife disappeared while on the same day on vacation. His body was found in the gorge 2. June while Sonam was missing. Ten days later, Sonam Raghuvanki appeared on Dhaba on the Ghazipur highway, where the police were taken into custody.
Five people, including Sonama, have so far been arrested in the case of Raja Raghuvanki’s murder. One of them, Raj Kushwaha, is considered to be Sonam’s friend and four others are hired kilomers, the cops said.
Sonam, Raj (accused of being the main conspirator) and three alleged Hitmans were held at the Sadar police station in Shillong.
Sonam’s brother “confirms” involvement
Govind, the brother of Sonama RaghuvanShi, said the chain of events “confirms” Sonam’s involvement in the case.
When Govind asked Sonam’s involvement in the case, he said, “Sonam will have a role. This channel Raj Kushwaha, Vishal and others only went through Sonam, confirming its involvement. Therefore, I believe it has a role.”
Govind further stated that he did not know their truth; Otherwise, he wouldn’t allow this marriage to happen. He called on he decided to fight her sister Sonama.
