Haryana Congress will launch the third phase of its statewide campaign ‘Save Vote – Save Democracy Chaupal’ from November 3, which will continue till November 25.

Haryana Congress chief Sanjay Dutt on Monday (November 2, 2026) said the campaign will be formally launched on November 3 from Ladwa, the assembly constituency represented by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

“The aim of this campaign is to raise people’s awareness of their constitutional right to vote, to strengthen public participation in ensuring the fairness and transparency of electoral rolls, and to create a robust organizational and mass mechanism to ensure the voice of every eligible voter,” he added.

Under this campaign, which will be led by Mr. Dutt and Haryana Pradesh Congress President Rao Narender Singh, “Chaupals” (community meetings) will be organized in villages across Haryana to create direct interaction with citizens, youth, women, farmers, laborers and various sections of society, Mr. Dutt said.

“During the campaign, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and Congress workers will actively scrutinize the electoral rolls at the booth level and take necessary steps to ensure that the names of all eligible voters are properly entered. Dedicated teams will also be formed and activated at each polling booth with clearly defined responsibilities of party workers to protect the voting rights of citizens,” he said.

Mr. Dutt said the BJP has to answer serious questions about the voting rights of the people of India. “The integrity of the electoral rolls, the fairness of the electoral process and the independent and transparent functioning of the electoral commission are the basic prerequisites of democracy. The Congress party will continue to raise the voice of the people on these critical issues and with full determination to fight for the protection of the voice of every entitled citizen,” he said.
