Siraj gets valuable bowling practice ahead of Test series

For the senior support team of the Indian team, Siraj’s workload is a big positive at the venue where India will play the second Test against New Zealand. The two-match Test series against the Black Caps begins on November 19.

Temper bowled 35 overs, giving head coach Gautam Gambhir and bowling coach Morne Morkel plenty to cheer about before he joins the ODI squad after this match.

Siraj looked sharp with the old ball and was particularly effective with the new ball. His pace bowling partner Mukesh also impressed with the first and second new balls, although he was less effective as the Kookaburra lost its luster.
