
Mumbai: Iqbal Khan resigned as a national company leadership at lawyers and legal representatives.
Khan joined JSA from SHARDUL AMARCHAND MANGALDAS in October 2024, along with a team of 18 lawyers, including three detained partners, strengthening mergers, acquisitions and private capital teams in business practice.

“IQBAL KHAN told his resignation of JSA. The output ways will be elaborated with each other with regard to the interest of clients, participating teams and companies,” Vivek Chanda, the managing partner JSA, said on Wednesday. “It has grown exponentially over the past 18 months and has integrated well with all its side partners who are in line with the company’s culture and values. The company will continue to watch its way of growth and wishes IQBAL well.”
Khan’s departure comes as the best legal company witnesses a mass movement to opponents. He was brought to JSA to work closely with joint control partners, chairmen of practical areas and the Executive Committee to operate the company’s business practice and expand his many services.
Before joining JSA, he was in the United States with Paul Weiss and Kirkland and Ellis. Khan also holds JD from Columbia Law School (Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar); Parker School certificate to achieve international and comparative law; and LLB of London School of Economics and Political Science.

He was an editor of European law Columbia Journal of European Law and was classified as one of the best lawyers M&A and private capital according to various legal channels in India.
Before joining JSA, Khan led together with his partners for clients including Advent, Bain, Brookfield, TPG, Biocon, L&T, Lic, Pharmpeasy, Reliance, Serum and Tata.
