‘Cyclone Murasu’: Palnadu District Collector declares November 2 a holiday for schools and colleges.

Palnadu District Collector Kritika Shukla announced a holiday for all government and private schools, colleges and Anganwadi centers on Tuesday (November 2) in view of Cyclone Murasu.

The Collector informed in a press release here on Sunday that the district administration has taken all necessary measures to effectively deal with Cyclone Murasu.

A special control room has been set up in the Collectorate to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience due to the cyclone and to facilitate immediate relief measures. The control room will operate around the clock. Staff were deployed to provide the public with necessary information and coordinate rescue operations.

In view of the cyclone warning, the district collector asked people to remain alert and not go out unless absolutely necessary.
