
Murder of Meghalay Honeymoon: The Shilllong court ordered Sonam Raghuvansehi, accused of murdering her husband Raja Raghuvanki during their honeymoon in Meghalay, along with his four alleged co -operatives.
Sonam, 24, was brought to Meghalaya late on Tuesday from Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, while the second accused arrived on Wednesday on transit in custody from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, according to police officials.
At first, the police were looking for a 10 -day custody, but the court granted eight days, allowing a special investigation team (SIT) to reconstruct the crime scene in Sohra (Cherrapunji) where the murder occurred.
Raja Raghuvanki, a 29 -year -old Indore entrepreneur, and his wife Sonam disappeared on May 23, while on the honeymoon in the East Khasi Hills Meghalaya. Rajah’s spread body was discovered 2 June in a deep ravine near a waterfall.
Sonam was arrested on June 8 after a revival in Ghazipur, where she gave up the local police. The investigation revealed that Sonam allegedly conspired with his boyfriend Raj Kushwah and hired three men – Vishal Singh Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi – Kill Raja.
The police said Sonam was so determined to remove his husband that she was threatened to push him out of the cliff if the hired killer failed. The autopsy report confirmed that Raja had died of two sharp strokes into his head.
SIT ensured the care of all accused of different states to help combine the sequence of events that lead to murder. Sonam’s brother publicly supported Rajain’s family and promised to fight for justice.
Meanwhile, Sonam and Raj Kushwah allegedly accused, which complicated the investigation. The authorities continue to collect evidence, including the CCTV shots and witnesses, because the probe intensifies into this cool contract that developed under the guise of honeymoon.
