Rajehendravaram City Mla Adireddi Srinivas announced on Wednesday that Rajamahendram Municipal Corporation (RMC) submitted a detailed report of the project (DPR) for the establishment of a multi -purpose sports complex in the city as part of the Khelo India program.
The announcement was made during the inauguration of the inner stadium Godavari Pushkaram, which was built at the price of 3.41 crore, with financing 1.50 crore received from the sports authority Andhra Pradesh (SAAP). The civic body expects to generate 10 lakhs from the complex.
SAAP chairman A. Ravi Naida, MLC SOME Veerraja and Commissioner RMC Ketan Garg joined Mr. Srinivas at the opening ceremony. Mr. Naida claimed that Rajamahendram is the second city in Andhra Pradesh, which has a rifle shooting device.
As part of the preparation for Godavari Pushkarams-2027, Mr. Srinivas said that infrastructure projects and beauty of 100 crore are underway.
Meanwhile, at the University of Adikavi Nannaya University, the chairman of SAAP Mr. Ravi Naidu checked the multipurpose inner stadium and a swimming pool with a swimming pool, which was built as part of the Khelo India program. Vice -Chairman S. Prasanna Sri said that these two facilities were built at the price of 10 GBP Crore and the construction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
