Hardik Pandya rocks the MrBeast challenge and wins big money for charity

Hardik Pandya swapped his cricket bat for a baseball bat and won big. The Indian all-rounder was featured in a video by popular content creator MrBeast taking part in a baseball challenge against the internet sensation. Not only did Pandya win, he also won a whopping US$100,000 (approx. 94.9 lakh), which he decided to donate to charity.

Known for his elaborate challenges and big cash prizes, MrBeast has brought together some of the biggest sports personalities from various disciplines in a video. Pandya was among the featured athletes, with the challenge revolving around hitting baseballs out of the park. The goal was simple: hit more home runs than the opponent.

The Indian all-rounder seized the opportunity and overcame MrBeast to claim the prize money. However, instead of keeping the winnings, Pandya decided to give the money to a greater cause. The 33-year-old donated the entire amount to several charities that work for the welfare of dogs in need and disadvantaged children.

HARDIK’S TIME gone

Pandya last featured in a competitive match on 24 May during the IPL. He has since missed several international assignments, including India’s home series against Afghanistan, featuring both ODIs and T20Is, as well as the subsequent tours of Ireland and England.

His absence continued during the home ODI series against West Indies. Pandya will also miss India’s ongoing tour of New Zealandextends its charm far beyond international cricket.

For now, the jack-of-all-trades has found another way to grab the headlines. His appearance in MrBeast’s challenge offered fans a glimpse of him taking on a sport outside of his usual domain. More importantly, his decision to donate the award ensured that the win went beyond a baseball challenge, with the money going to support charitable causes.
