A low pressure area over the South Andaman Sea is likely to concentrate into a depression over the Southeast Bay of Bengal around October 31 and move west-northwestwards towards the Andhra Pradesh coast during the next two days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
PLN Murthy, head of the Cyclone Warning Center (CWC), Visakhapatnam, said the system has not yet been declared a depression and it needs to be watched whether it will intensify further. The rest of the very strong cyclonic storm Arnab, now a low pressure area over north Chhattisgarh, is no longer affecting the state, he said.
