Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) on the successful launch of GSLV-F18 with NVS-03.

The new generation NVS-03 navigation satellite was placed on its intended geosynchronous transfer orbit (GTO). ISRO Chairman V Narayanan announced that the launch restored the NavIC constellation to a minimum operational configuration of four satellites.

In a post at X PM, Modi wrote, “This mission represents an important step in strengthening NavIC, our original satellite navigation system. Equipped with enhanced capabilities, NVS-03 will support our drive for self-reliance in critical technologies and support navigation services that benefit our people. The commitment and ingenuity of our space scientists continues to make our nation proud.”
