SIR deadline for Telangana extended to 30 November 2026

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has extended the deadline for the ongoing special intensive revision of electoral rolls in Telangana by three weeks, till November 30.

In a late night announcement on Thursday, the ECI revised the release date of the final documents from November 9 to November 30.

According to the modified schedule, the phase for notification and processing of complaints and objections was extended from November 5 to November 26.

The schedule was revised on the request of Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharsan Reddy through a letter dated October 29 to the ECI.
