COVID-19 cases in Telangana have now climbed to two-digit numbers, according to the National panel COVID-19 with 10 active cases reported on Sunday 8 June. Fresh Uptick refers to a constant increase in infections throughout the state and reflects a wider national trend.
The current wave in Telangana began on May 23, when the doctor from Kukatpally in Hyderabad tested a positive, first recorded case at this stage of the focus. Since then, the number of cases daily has been seen a gradual increase.
However, officials tried to reassure public concerns. The director of Telangana for Public Health and Family Care said Hindu: “It’s just a common routine case.
Genome sequencing data from the Indian consortium SARS-COV-2 Genomics (Insacog) shows that five samples from Telangana have been seized since 8 June. Four of them belong to the variant LF.7.9, while one was identified as an XFG variant.
Medical experts have not yet noticed any alarming features. Dr. Kiran Madala, a professor of anesthesia at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, said: “Cases are moving every day, but behave like other flu. We see no unusual confession in the hospital.
