Baap ka, dada ka, bhai ka.”The line is a reference to the famous dialogue delivered by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character Faizal in Gangs of Wasseypur 2: “Baap ka, dada ka, bhai ka, sabka badla lega re tera Faizal.” In the film, Faizal says this to indicate that he will avenge the murders of his father, grandfather and brother by his family’s rivals.Vaishnavi responded with a five-wicket haul as India bowled out Zimbabwe for 131 in the third ODI. The left-arm spinner finished with figures of five for 39 in 10 overs, completing his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs with the last ball of his spell. The 20-year-old took four wickets in the second ODI at the same venue.Vaishnavi repeatedly tossed the ball up and tricked the Zimbabwean batsmen into playing, leading to their collapse. Opener Modester Mupachikwa was the visitors’ top scorer with 37 off 48 balls.Zimbabwe’s problems started early, with a series of light dismissals putting the team under pressure. The visitors have struggled with the bat throughout their white-ball tour of India.Pacer Sayali Satghare struck in her first over, with opener Loryn Phiri flicking the ball lightly down the leg side. Number three Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano was the next to fall after breaking regulation from Shafali Verma straight to the fielder.Vaishnavi then took control of the innings. She first dismissed Beloved Biza before overcoming Mupachikwa who was in good form. Expecting the opener to step out of her crease, Vaishnavi bowled a wide, flighty delivery. Mupachikwa was impressed by Yastika.Vaishnavi took her fifth and final wicket off the last ball of her spell. Nyasha Gwanzura attempted a sweep but the ball bounced off her pads and hit the stumps. While Vaishnavi led the bowling effort, Kranti Gaud and Satghare picked up two wickets each. With the series already secured, India made three changes to their playing XI for the third ODI, bringing in Harleen Deol, Yastika and Gaud. Gaud was rested for the second ODI.
