The main Minister N. Chandrababa Naida in the X report on Friday introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the new era of progress began in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I congratulate him on the successful completion of key projects devoted to the nation today, including two architectural miracles built in difficult terrain,” Naida said.
He said that the Chenab railway bridge was the highest railway bridge in the world, while the Anji bridge was the first Indian railway bridge for cables. The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla (USBL) railway would strengthen spiritual tourism, create opportunities for living and ensure connectivity in any weather with Vande Bharat trains running from Shi Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to Srinagar, he said.
Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said in his post on X that it was a proud day for the inhabitants of the Kashmir Valley. For the first time in Independent India, the Kashmir Valley has now been connected to the rest of the country over the highest railway bridge in the world, Chenab Bridge. “It’s a moment of national pride,” he said.
The NDA government has fulfilled the decade -old dream of a railway track and has achieved a significant milestone. “This means another step forward in the vision of Kashmir integration as an inseparable part of India and ensuring that people from Kashmir gain the benefits of social security and development at the same level. It is possible after the historical and revolutionary decision to cancel Article 370 by the NDA,” said Mr. Pawan Kalyan.
He also expanded his sincere gratitude on behalf of all the Indians to Modim, the Minister of Railway Ashwini Vaishnaw, the main Minister J&K Omar Abdullah and anyone who played a key role in this historical transformation.
