
Now it’s official. Congress of the Trinamool in Parliament (MP) Mahu Mahua married the head of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Pinaki Misra.
The wedding was reportedly held on May 3 in Germany. Moitra confirmed the wedding in the post for X and thanked people for “love and wishes”.
Who is Pinii Misra?
Pinaki Misra was born in 1959 and is a well -known politician who has been a deputy four times. He was first elected to Lok Sabha of Puri in Odisha in 1996, when he defeated the then Minister Braja Kishhore Tripathy. Misra was re -elected in 2009, 2014 and 2019.
Misra, the main advocate at the Supreme Court in India, had a famous political and legal career lasting almost three decades.
Pinaki Misra, 65 years old, holds BA (Hons) in history from ST Stephen’s College, Delhi and LLB from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. Previously, he was married to Sangita Misra and has one daughter and one son. Moitra is his second wife.
Misra was a member of the parliamentary committee for external affairs, subordinate legislation and civil aviation.
