
Harry Kane, Sachin Tendulkar and Vijay Mallya congratulated Royal Challengers Bengalur (RCB) to get their first Indian Premier League (IPL). On Tuesday, RCB Rajat Patidar Shreyas Iyer defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) six runs at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
Sachin Tendulkar, who played alongside Virt Kohl for India and faced him in the IPL, praised RCB for their remarkable success. Added a touch of humor and said it is appropriate that a man who wears jersey no. 18 – virat kohli – lifted the trophy in the 18th edition of the T20 league.
“Congratulations to RCB to their first title IPL. Adaptation of jersey no. PBK also for a well -fought season, ”wrote Tendulkar.
Vijay Mallya, a former RCB owner, kindly looked back at the time Kohli was first developed into a platoon. He also remembered his connection with legends like Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers, who played key roles in shaping identity RCB over the years.

“When I founded RCB, it was my dream that the iPL trophy should come to Bengalur. I had the honor of choosing the legendary King Kohli as a young man and it is remarkable that he stayed with RCB for 18 years.
“Finally, IPL Trophy arrives in Bengalur. Congrats and thank you again to all who have fulfilled my dream. RCB fans are the best and deserves the iPL. He added Malllya.
Harry Kane also congratulated Virt Kohli and RCB for their victory campaign. They both met in 2019 before the ODI World Cup in England and Wales.
Kane wrote: “One of the archives who will say massive congratulations @virat.kohli and @royalchallengers.bengaluru to the first title IPL !! Unreal Achievement.”
RCB lost the three IPL finals in 2009, 2011 and 2016, before they turned under the leadership of Rajat Patidar.
