Virat Kohli could not hide his emotions at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. Kohli said that the victory of the title with Bengalurum gave him immense satisfaction and would not want the script to play in another way.

“I raised almost every other trophy – the World Championship, T20, Odi, Trophy Champions. But this? This is up there. I gave everything for 18 years. I stayed loyal to this team, no matter what.
“This is much more strange than winning with any other team. My heart is with Bengaluru. My soul is with Bengaluru. And this is a team for which I will play until my last game IPL.”
“As an athlete, you dream of winning the big ones – and this one was missing. I will sleep like a baby tonight,” he said.
