Asian Para Games schedule for October 23: India expected to medal with final success

India’s medal tally has climbed to 88 at the Asian Para Games, leaving the country 21 short of its highest return at the continental event. With several medal contenders in action on Friday, the fifth day in Aichi-Nagoya could prove crucial for India’s record ambitions.

A great source of hope will once again be para-athletics with a javelin star Sumit Antil leads the attack alongside fellow Paralympic gold medalists Navdeep Singh and Dharambir Nain. Antilles, who won the Paralympic, World and Asian titles, will be among the biggest names to watch as India look to add to their medal haul.
