An important group of police staff from Telangana won the presidential medal for meritorious service (MSM), recognition of their long -term determination, exemplary field work and leadership in some of the most demanding police environment.
The list includes a wide range of units, ranging from elite greyhounds and octopus forces to news cells and district police station. Two higher officers, Vijay Kumar, serving as CEO ACB, Hyderabad and M. Raman Kumar, SP (NC), Sangareddy, also won the presidential medal for significant service (PSM).
Among those who are recognized as a merit service are K. Rama Krishna Prasad Rao, ADDL. SP (AdMn), TGPA and Bandi Venkateswara Reddy, ADDL. Commander, 8. Battalion, TGSP. Others include Attakuri Venkateswarl, which controls the Greyhounds unit, and Araveti Bhan Prasad Rao, Police Inspector, IT & C, Hyderabad.
