The woman in the Malda district in West Bengal reportedly killed her nephew and covered his body inside the wall in the house of her father in the neighboring district of Dakshin Dinajpur. The body was restored on Monday (June 2, 2025). A man in Basanti, South 24 Parganas, was seen in a separate incident, walking through the streets with an abrasion head of his sister -in -law.
The deceased in the first case was identified as Saddam Nadab, a 31 -year -old supplier who lived with his aunt in the Englishbazar area in Malda. Since May 18, he was reportedly missing. After a complaint to a missing person filed at the police station in Angingbazar, the police launched a probe.
Mr. Nadaba’s body was eventually found in the Tapan police station in Dakshin Dinajpur, buried inside the wall in the house of the accused father. On the basis of the information collected during the investigation, officers from the police station in Angingbazar made a search in the area and renewed the body on Monday.
According to officials, the accused woman originally provided misleading information, which caused further questioning. Later she confessed to the murder and revealed the location of the body. The accused was identified as a moumite of Nadab. The preliminary investigation suggested that financial disputes in the family could be the motive of a crime.
“He threatened me, threatened to kill my husband and my child. So I killed him,” Mrs. Moumita told media persons while accompanied by a police station. The police also question other family members to determine whether other persons were involved in the murder.

The accused, identified as Bimal Mondal, was arrested shortly after he voluntarily surrendered to the Basanti police station and confessed to the murder of Sati Mondal. The crime, committed in daylight, had the locals deeply disrupted.
“There was a family dispute over mango growing on our farms. My mother complained about mango theft of our farms and fingers were aimed at my uncle who led to his anger,” said the son of the deceased woman, absenting a series of family tragedies that also lost his father at the beginning of this year.
“They blamed me of the fact that I have been a thief for decades. They accused me of stealing several things. That’s why I lost cold,” Mr. Bimal told media persons while being taken into custody. His wife, however, denied all the accusations of theft.
