Fake cash offer link: Milma filed a criminal complaint

Fake links claiming to be “Milma Anniversary Gift” and “Milma Independence Day Gift” were circulated on WhatsApp groups a few months ago and were subsequently taken down.

The Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma) has warned the public against a fake link on online platforms claiming that Milma is offering ₹50,000 as a gift.

Milma officials said they filed a police complaint and also legally removed the fake links in circulation.

Similar fake links claiming to be “Milma Anniversary Gift” and “Milma Independence Day Gift” were also circulated on WhatsApp groups a few months ago, according to Milma officials.

They were removed after Milma took legal action. Its officials said Milma has no policy of offering gifts or money during festivals.

They urged consumers and the public to be wary of such online offers in the future.
