Family members of the highest Maoist leader Zambal Keshava Rao, who was recently killed at a meeting in Chattisgarh, claimed on Sunday that the police staff had caused them a mental agony by storing many restrictions on holding rituals of 12.
According to them, the police did not allow Maoist sympathizers, left parties and family members of Keshava Rao to offer floral honors according to tradition of 12.
Keshavarao’s brother N. Dhilleswar Rao said the police staff did not allow relatives and local people to participate in prayer.
A spokesman for the CPI (ml) P. Praad condemned the restriction of the government at every step. “Despite the court order, the government did not give the family Keshava Rao the family. Now they have caused problems on the day of rituals.”
