
The Forest Industries Travancore Limited production plant, one of the oldest public sector units (PSU), is modernized in Aluva as part of the rejuvenation of the Keral government and revitalize the viable dog plan.
Forest Industries Travancore Ltd. (Fitl), which was established in 1946 with a large focus on the production of wooden furniture and joinery, operates in a highly competitive market segment of micro, small and medium -sized enterprises (MSME). Due to the lack of modern equipment and advanced machines, the current production system in the company brings lower outputs, leading to an above -average waste compared to competitors in the field.
To resolve these challenges and meet the market requirements, it plans to manage current production facilities. Installation and commissioning of a chemical treatment plant, laids of automatic machine, top computers and other auxiliary devices in the design studio are designed for the production of furniture designed to customized.
The aim of the scheme is also to rebuild the existing showroom, which includes civil and electrical work. The Working Group of the Department considered and approved the proposal for an administrative sanction.
