The Indian Coast Guard team, which offered humanitarian aid, evacuated the “captain affected by heart attack” from the vessel at sea to Bahamas, the officials said on Saturday (May 31, 2025).
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) shared this information in the X post and also shared some photos.
“In the midnight rescue operation of @indiacoastguard Station #kakinada coordinated the life of rescue medical evacuation.
ICG further stated that the patient was moved to the hospital.
“The patient was safely brought to Shore and moved to #Apollo #kakinada #lifesavingops #weprotect #safeseas,” he said.
