Fire breaks out at anti-drone equipment testing facility in Madhapur; no casualties

Smoke filled the room after a fire broke out at Unistring Tech Solutions in Madhapur on Sunday.

A fire broke out at Unistring Tech Solutions, a facility involved in the preparation of anti-drone testing equipment, in Madhapur on Sunday (October 18) evening. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the Madhapur police, the fire broke out around 5:00 pm after which three fire tenders rushed to the spot. Firefighters brought the flames under control and prevented further damage.

Preliminary information suggests that the power outage may have affected the cooling system, causing the device’s batteries to overheat and catch fire.

An official from Madhapur Station House said the power supply to the premises was switched off that day to facilitate the repair work of the transformer. Police suspect that the power outage may have affected the cooling mechanism used for the device, resulting in overheating. However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been determined. The extent of property damage is also assessed.

Police said a detailed inspection and investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the fire.
