With a large intervention of the sale of false seeds, the police confiscated the coordination with the agriculture officials of 560 kg of disturbing seed worth 14 lakhs during three separate raids in the Mandal district in the Khammam district in the last three days.
Nine people were arrested for charging the sale of disturbing seeds to the foundable farmers through agents below the borders of the police commissioner Khammam.
The air raid on the agricultural areas in Reallewad in the Mandalo 27. Kingpin gang reportedly received false seeds from a person in the Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh, for sale to unsuspecting farmers to earn quick money, the police said.
During the media on Friday, police commissioner Khammam Sunil Dutt said Vigil was intensified throughout the limits of the Khammam Police Commission to limit the sale of false seeds. Strict measures will be taken against those involved in the production and sale of false seeds, he added.
