K. Prathap Reddy, a banker with more than two decades of experience at the state bank of India (SBI), assumed the accusation as chairman of TELANGANA Grameen Bank (TGB).
51 -year -old Mr. Reddy, a representative of the CEO of SBI, was taken over as chairman of the regional rural bank by Y. Sobha. He will be held by three years, TGB said on Friday.
Mr. Reddy comes with a wide expertise in the field of operational and administrative areas and commercial credit operations. He also served as the head of the branch of agriculture and retail assets of the centralized SBI processing in Hyderabad.
For two years he was also chairman of Andhra Pradesh Grameen Vikas Bank. Part of the APGVB Telangana has recently been merged into TGB.
TGB is sponsored by SBI and its total trade on 31. March was 73,791 crore. It is one of the most profitable RRB in the country and for 2024-25 released a net profit of CRORE 675 GBP and showed the ratio of capital adequacy 25.42%. It’s the most profitable India RRB.
