NTR birth anniversary observed at Vizag collectorate

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao’s birth anniversaries were commemorated at the Visakhapatnam Collectorate on Thursday. Joint Collector G. Vidyadhari paid floral tributes to the portrait of Mr. Rama Rao at a program held in the Collector’s Assembly Hall.

Chief Financial Officer M. Visweswara Naidu, Tourism Officer Madhavi, DRDA Project Director Lakshmipati and other officials also paid their respects.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Vidyadhari recalled NTR’s contribution to public service and welfare programmes. She said his role in boosting the self-esteem of the Telugu people remains significant. Officials and employees from various departments participated in the program.
