India’s versatile Ravindra Jadeja revealed that he has a captain aspiration in the test format. Jadeja spoke to Ravichandran Ashwin at Kutti Stories podcast, revealing that he would certainly attract the test captain if he had a chance.
The Board of Trustees in India (BCCI) decided to hand over the captain of the test team to SHUBMAN GILL after going to the departure of Rohit Sharma and Virt Kohli. The Board of Directors decided to look into the future and make Rishabh Pant a representative Gill. Enter the two, Jasprit Bumrah only was a leading role in running, as revealed by the main selector Ajit Agarkar.
Asked by Ashwin, if he wanted the captain of the test party, Jadeja said he was under the leadership of the best captains at the time and would certainly want the captain of the Indian team in the red ball format.
“Yes, certainly! I have played under various captains over the years. I know the thinking of every captain for whom I played, and I also understand what players need and their thinking,” said 36 -year -old Jadeja to his former Indian teammate Ravichandran Ashwin.
“Each captain has different thinking about how the team wants to run. I played under Mrs. Dhoni in every format and his thinking is very simple. If the dough can hit shots in a particular area, keeps the dough there to make the dough unpleasant,” Jadeja added.
Ravindra Jadeja is the last player of the highest flight, who remained in the current Indian team, which dominated in mid -2010 under the leadership of Virt Kohli. In front of Rohit and Kohli, R Ashwin, a host of podcast, he called Time to his career in the middle of the Trophy 2023-24 in Australia.
Is the captain of the test difficult?
On a tour in England, Jadeja is not guaranteed by 100 % guaranteed, as Indian management has recently shown its affinity for Washington Sundar.
Jadeja spoke of the captain’s burden in the red ball format and said the testing party captain was much easier than matches with high intensity in T20 cricket. Jadeja claimed that the captain of the test was a lot about the calculations, but was relatively simpler than the formats of the white ball.
“In the test cricket, you have to change two or three Polnice as needed, and you don’t have to change the Batsmen fields. The captain in the test cricket is much more different. It’s simple but calculative. It’s not complicated as iPL or T20s where each ball is.”
