The Srikakulam BJP leader extended financial assistance to the families of the railway accident victims

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and party official spokesperson Bypalli Parameswara Rao has provided financial assistance of ₹10,000 to the families of the four victims of the railway accidents at Tekkali in Srikakulam district.

Recently, four tribal students studying intermediate were run over by a train near Tekkali after they allegedly failed to notice the train while walking along the railway track. Due to heavy rain, they could not see the movement of Rajya Rani Express (Train No. 18117).

Mr. Parameswara Rao consoled the families and said the incident had shocked everyone across the state. He alleged that the hostel management failed to ensure the safety of the students and allowed them to move freely in bad weather.

He asked Collector Swapnil Dinkar Pundkar to take strong action against those responsible for the untimely death of the four students.
