
Special textbooks on financial literacy are among those published according to a revised curriculum in schools of the public sector in the State.
The book is called financial literacy. Parts related to the subject were included in textbooks from class V. Special textbooks were published for IX and X.
Some of the eight units in the IX Class textbook (Part II) are “economical and investment options”, “modern banking services”, “banking documents and forms”, “Life Insurance: Security and Savings,” Postal Department: Financial Services “and” Mutual Market and Mutual Funds “.
The purpose of financial literacy is to instill financial discipline among students from young age.
There will also be steps to strengthen the Sanchayika scheme in schools to develop students with an economical custom and to improve financial awareness, the statement of the Minister of General Education V. Sivankuta said.
