The Indian Embassy on Wednesday (May 28, 2025) stated that the Iranian authorities emphatically dealt with the case of three missing Indian citizens, all of the same family who disappeared after Iran.
“The family members of the three Indian citizens informed the Indian embassy that their relatives were missing after they were traveling to Iran,” the embassy said in a post on X.

However, the embassy did not clear when and where the three Indians disappeared in Iran.
The Embassy said it was strongly taken over with the Iranian authorities and asked that the missing Indians were “urgently monitored and their security should be ensured”.
“We also maintain family members regularly updated with efforts spent by embassy,” he added in the post.
