Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that the state government is promoting Telangana as the best destination for global investment as it focuses on the all-round development of the state.

The government strongly believes that the focus should be on developing restrictive politics around the time of elections. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working to achieve the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047, which coincides with 100 years of India’s independence, and the state government has come up with a similar Telangana Rising vision for the period, which has set a target of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2034 and a $3 trillion economy by 2047.

“Our aim is to ensure that the state contributes at least 10% of GDP against the 5% it contributes now,” he said. Attending a global summit organized by the Samakhya Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday (October 14, 2026), the Chief Minister explained to the participants the government’s vision to achieve the target set for 2047 by dividing the state into CURE, PURE and RARE regions.

He urged the investors to join hands with the government to achieve the goals of Telangana Rising and ensure that all necessary support is provided and steps are taken to protect investments by implementing investor-friendly policies. At the same time, local entrepreneurs should become partners in industrial policy and invest in global growth, rather than limiting themselves to providing services to businesses.

Enumerating the women empowerment programs launched by his government, he suggested that the chamber of commerce should encourage youth and women entrepreneurs to further strengthen the country’s economy. The state government, on its part, has provided women with banking connections worth ₹61,000 crore, besides taking steps to make them owners of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) buses, petrol tanks and solar power plants.

He praised the chambers for organizing a big event to promote the growth of the new generation and appreciated the Munnuru Kapu community for their excellence in various fields including cinema and politics.
