Neeru Dhanda’s parents missed her Asian Games glory without TV, India brings home a new one today

Indian trap shooter Neeru Dhanda bagged three shooting medals at the Asian Games in Japan, but her parents could not watch her historic achievement as they lacked a television set at home. India Today and Aaj Tak team visited her residence and installed a brand new TV. Her mother, Sudesh Devi, welcomed the new TV by applying an auspicious tilak of turmeric paste. Alongside her husband Suresh, she is now eagerly looking forward to watching their daughter compete and aim for gold in the 2028 Olympics.
