Official TTD donates five tribal cows to Gosamrakshanasala

Another executive of TTD Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary inspects Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala after donating five tribal cows in Tirupati on Wednesday.

Another executive of TTD Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary donated five indigenous cows to Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshanasala, a dairy farm run by TTD in Tirupati.

While formally handing over the cattle to Dairy Farm Director Siva Kumar, he reminded the special place given to cows in Sanatana Dharma and appealed to the public to support TTD’s cow protection initiatives.

The TTD priests performed a special ‘Go Daana Puja’ to the cattle and also to the deity of Sri Venugopala Swamy at SV Gosamrakshanasala.

Mr. Chowdary offered cattle fodder as a symbolic form of ceremonial gift. During a tour of the facility, he later questioned officials about feed supply, animal care and general maintenance of the dairy farm and offered suggestions for better cow care.
