Nagaland footballer dies after falling from train in Walayar

A 26-year-old footballer from Nagaland died on Tuesday morning after falling from a train at Walayar in Palakkad district. The deceased was identified as Henry Lamk Hoshem, who had come to Kerala from Nagaland for work.

Henry was returning to Kadavanthara, Kochi after attending a football match in Coimbatore when the accident occurred. He worked in a restaurant in Kadavanthara. Police said Henry fell out of the train while it was passing through Walayar area. The circumstances that led to the accident are not yet clear. His body was shifted to Government District Hospital, Palakkad.
